Mechanical Vacuum Pump Rebuilding Procedures
- DISASSEMBLY:
Pump is drained and completely disassembled. Initial inspection is written, all pertinent information, including motor voltage, ultimate pressure, attached accessories, type of oil charge, etc. is noted - CLEANING:
All parts undergo four part cleaning procedure, including solvent bath, high temperature caustic cleaning, water rinse and alcohol wipe down. - ESTIMATING:
All parts are inspected for excessive wear, all tolerances measured and all failures analyzed. Estimate is now written and submitted for approval. - ASSEMBLY:
Upon authorization, pump parts are deburred and hand lapped, pump is reassembled using all new wear parts, ie; vanes, shaft seals, exhaust valves, o-rings, gaskets, etc., recharrged with appropriate vacuum fluid and run-in for a minimum of 24 hours. - QUALITY CONTROL:
Pump is inspected by quality assurance inspector to insure proper operation and proper operation of all accessories is checked and noted. All pertinent information, including motor voltage, ultimate pressure, date of repair, type of oil charge, etc. is noted, pump is wrapped in plastic and palletized prior to shipping.
Warranty period is one full year on all pump rebuilding service
